SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Senatorial Scholarships — Out—of—State Institutions

FOR the purpose of permitting a certain     percentage of

senatorial scholarships to be available     to applicants

planning to attend out—of—state       undergraduate

institutions offering certain__courses;      providing for

certain preferences in awards to those applicants; and

requiring the State Board for Higher Education to
include in its annual review a list of majors offered
by accredited undergraduate institutions in Maryland.
