SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

State Lottery — State Lottery Fund

FOR the purpose of changing the time of payment of lottery
revenues into the general funds of the State beginning
with a certain fiscal year so that the State's share
shall be accumulated in the Fund on a monthly basis for
transfer to the general funds on a monthly basis.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 88D - State Lottery

(c) For fiscal [years 1978 and 1979 only,] YEAR 1980

1978 AND IN EACH FISCAL YEAR THEREAFTER, the State's share
