Maryland.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 76A - Public Information

Section 12(b) and 25 (a) (3)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1975 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 76A - Public Information

12.

(b) Whenever reasonable under all the circumstances,
the notice shall be in writing and shall include the date,
time, and place of the meeting[, and the notice].

25.

(a) Meetings of public agencies and meetings of the
staff of public agencies may be conducted in executive
session in the following situations only:

* (3) When a school board or its staff discusses
individual special education students and the parent or
guardian of the student or the student requests [and] AN
executive session;

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
