AN ACT concerning

Corrective Bill — Article 41, "Governor — Executive and
Administrative Departments"

FOR the purpose of correcting technical errors in certain
sections of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 41 — Governor — Executive and Administrative

Departments
Section 103C(a)(8), 160(a)(1)(ix), 204C(c), 256, and

477(4)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 41 - Governor — Executive and Administrative
Departments

103C.

(a) The following charitable organizations are not
required to file a registration statement if they do not
employ a professional solicitor to solicit funds on their
behalf or if they do not mail more than 500,000
solicitations for charitable contributions in any one year:

(8) A parents and teachers association
affiliated with any school covered in [subsection] PARAGRAPH
(1), or affiliated with a local board of education.

(a) (1) The Governor shall appoint a State Advisory
Council for the Coordination of Services to the Handicapped.
The Council consists of 19 members who are appointed
according to the following scheme:

(ix) [Ten] NINE members from the general
public. The members shall be as follows:
