State, if:

(1)    The vehicle is not registered or the
required registration fee has not been paid; or

(2)    The registration of the vehicle is
canceled, suspended, or revoked.

[(b) If an application accompanied by the required fee
has been made for registration of a vehicle, the vehicle may
be driven temporarily pending complete registration:

(1)    On displaying an authenticated registration
card; or

(2)    Otherwise under rules and regulations
adopted by the Administrator.]

13-405.

(A)    If an application for registration and
certificate of title of a vehicle is accompanied by the
required fees, the Administration may issue a temporary
registration card AND A TEMPORARY REGISTRATION PLATE to
permit the vehicle to be driven pending action on the
application by the Administration.

(B)   TEMPORARY REGISTRATION MAY BE ISSUED FOR A PERIOD
DETERMINED BY THE ADMINISTRATOR BUT MAY NOT EXCEED 15 DAYS.

(C)    FOR EACH TEMPORARY REGISTRATION PLATE ISSUED THE
FEE IS $10.

(D)   TEMPORARY REGISTRATION PLATES ISSUED UNDER THIS
SECTION MAY ONLY BE ISSUED IN THE CASE OF PRIVATE SALES
BETWEEN PERSONS WHO ARE NOT LICENSED DEALERS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

FOR the purpose of redefining, for the Wildlife title of
Natural Resources, "fur—bearing mammal" to add certain
mammals; and redefining "unprotected mammal" to add and
delete certain mammals; enacting special provisions
