(B) EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT FOR SCRAP PROCESSOR'S
LICENSE.
A PERSON MAY NOT BE LICENSED AS A SCRAP PROCESSOR
UNLESS THE PERSON MAINTAINS THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT
SUITABLE FOR PROCESSING VEHICLE SCRAP:
(1) A HYDRAULIC BALER AND SHEARS;
(2) A SHREDDER; OR
(3) ANY OTHER SUITABLE EQUIPMENT THAT THE
ADMINISTRATION REQUIRES BY RULE OR REGULATION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §5-202(a) (2) through (5), and
(8).
In this section and throughout this subtitle,
present references to a vehicle "to be
scrapped, dismantled, or destroyed" and
similar references are deleted as unnecessary
in light of the definition of "vehicle" in
§15-501 of this subtitle.
Subsection (a) (1) of this section is
substituted for the present reference to a
"substantial office" for purposes of clarity
and to conform with the similar provision in
§15-304 of this title.
In subsection (b) of this section, the
reference to "vehicle scrap" is substituted
for the present reference to "motor vehicle
scrap" to conform to the usage throughout this
subtitle.
As to the present requirement that there be a
"fixed location" at which the books and
records of the business are kept, see §15—105
of this title to the same effect.
The only other changes are in style.
15-504. APPLICATION SUBMITTED TO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
AND MENTAL HYGIENE.
THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL SUBMIT A COPY OF EACH
APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE UNDER THIS SUBTITLE TO THE
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE, FOR ITS COMMENTS
ON MATTERS RELATING TO AIR POLLUTION AND HEALTH.
