A PERSON MAY NOT CONDUCT THE BUSINESS OF A WRECKER
OR A SCRAP PROCESSOR UNLESS THE PERSON IS LICENSED BY THE
ADMINISTRATION UNDER THIS SUBTITLE. (B)    STORAGE OF CERTAIN VEHICLES BY UNLICENSED
PERSONS PROHIBITED. A PERSON MAY NOT STORE ON ANY PRIVATE PROPERTY FOR
MORE THAN 30 DAYS ANY VEHICLE THAT IS TO BE DISMANTLED,
DESTROYED, OR SCRAPPED, UNLESS THE PERSON IS A WRECKER OR
A SCRAP PROCESSOR LICENSED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE. (C)   EXCEPTION. THIS SECTION DOES NOT PROHIBIT AN UNLICENSED PERSON
FROM TRANSPORTING A VEHICLE TO A LICENSED WRECKER OR A
LICENSED SCRAP PROCESSOR FOR DISMANTLING, DESTROYING, OR
SCRAPPING. REVISOR'S NOTE; This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 66 1/2,
§§ 5-201, 5-201.1, and 5-201.2. That part of present Art. 66 1/2, §5-201.2(a)
that describes the activities of a wrecker
requiring licensure have been incorporated to
the same effect in the definition of "wrecker"
in §15-501(e) of this subtitle. In subsection (b) of this section, and
throughout the balance of this subtitle,
present references to the "body or chassis" of
a vehicle are deleted as unnecessary in light
of the definition of "vehicle" in §15—501 of
this subtitle. 15-503. LOCATION AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS. (A) IN GENERAL. A PERSON MAY NOT BE LICENSED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE
UNLESS: (1)   THE BUSINESS TO BE CONDUCTED UNDER THE
LICENSE IS CONDUCTED FROM A BUILDING THAT IS ADEQUATE AND
APPROPRIATE FOR THE BUSINESS; (2)    THAT BUSINESS HAS A STORAGE AREA LARGE
ENOUGH FOR AT LEAST 25 VEHICLES; AND (3)   AT THE FIXED LOCATION FROM WHICH THE
BUSINESS IS CONDUCTED, AS SPECIFIED IN THE APPLICATION,
THERE IS A SUBSTANTIAL AND LEGIBLE SIGN:
(I) THAT ADVERTISES THE TYPE OF BUSINESS
CONDUCTED AT THE LOCATION; AND
