Present Art. 66 1/2, §5-202(a)(1), which
governs the required form of application, is
deleted as already covered by the standard
provisions of §15—102(a) of this title.
15-505. LICENSE FEE.
(A) ANNUAL FEE REQUIRED.
EACH LICENSEE SHALL PAY AN ANNUAL FEE TO THE
ADMINISTRATION FOR EACH LICENSE YEAR OR PART OF A LICENSE
YEAR FOR WHICH THE LICENSE IS ISSUED.
(B) AMOUNT OF FEE.
THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE IS $125.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §5-202(a)(6).
In subsection (a) of this section, language
specifying that the fee is paid "for each
license year or part of a license year" is
inserted to clarify the present references to
payment on issuance of a license and to annual
renewal of a license. The expiration and
renewal of licenses issued under this subtitle
are governed by the general provision of
§15-108 of this title.
The only other changes are in style.
Present Art. 66 1/2, §5-202(b), which
provides for duplicate licenses, is deleted as
already covered by the standard provision of
§15-107 of this title.
15-506. SCOPE OF LICENSE.
A LICENSE ISSUED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE AUTHORIZES THE
LICENSEE TO CONDUCT THE BUSINESS OF A WRECKER OR SCRAP
PROCESSOR, AS THE CASE MAY BE, DURING THE LICENSE YEAR
FOR WHICH IT IS ISSUED.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language added
for clarity and to conform to similar
provisions in each of the other subtitles of
this title.
15-507. TRANSFER OF VEHICLE TO WRECKER OR SCRAP
PROCESSOR.
(A) ASSIGNMENT OF CERTIFICATE OF TITLE.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS SECTION
AND IN §25-210 OF THIS ARTICLE, ANY PERSON WHO TRANSFERS
A VEHICLE TO A WRECKER OR SCRAP PROCESSOR SHALL:
