(C) SCRAP PROCESSOR.
"SCRAP PROCESSOR" MEANS A PERSON IN A BUSINESS:
(1) THAT HAS FACILITIES FOR PROCESSING IRON,
STEEL, AND NONFERROUS SCRAP METAL; AND
(2) THE PRINCIPAL PRODUCT OF WHICH IS SCRAP
IRON, SCRAP STEEL, AND NONFERROUS SCRAP FOR SALE ONLY FOR
RESMELTING PURPOSES.

66 1/2, §5-201.1(a).
(D) VEHICLE.
"VEHICLE" MEANS ANY VEHICLE, OR THE BODY OR CHASSIS
OF ANY VEHICLE, THAT IS TO BE DISMANTLED, DESTROYED, OR
SCRAPPED.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added to avoid unnecessary repetition in this
subtitle of references to "the body or
chassis" of a vehicle "to be dismantled,
destroyed, or scrapped".
(E) WRECKER.
"WRECKER" MEANS A PERSON IN THE BUSINESS OF:
(1) DISMANTLING, DESTROYING, OR SCRAPPING ANY
VEHICLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESELLING ANY OF ITS USABLE
PARTS; OR
(2) OTHERWISE ACQUIRING VEHICLES FOR THE
BENEFIT OF THEIR PARTS OR THE MATERIALS IN THEM.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived without substantive change from the
present definition of "wrecker" in Art. 66
1/2, §5—201.1(b), and the activities presently
described in Art. 66 1/2, §5-201.2(a).
That part of present Art. 66 1/2, §5-201.2(a)
that requires a wrecker to be licensed is
contained in §15-502 of this subtitle.
The present reference to the "body or chassis"
of a vehicle is deleted as unnecessary in
light of the definition of "vehicle" in
subsection (d) of this section.
