from the source law—-serves to clarify the
intent that: (i) if, for compensation and as a
vehicle salesman for a dealer, an individual
sells or exchanges vehicles, he first must be
licensed as a vehicle salesman under Subtitle
4 of this title; and (ii) if he is
self-employed or otherwise not employed by a
licensed dealer, he nevertheless still is
considered a "vehicle salesman", but also must
obtain a dealer's license under Subtitle 3 of
this title. See §§15-307(c) and 15-404 of
this title.
15-102. APPLICATIONS FOR LICENSES.
(A) APPLICATION FORM.
EACH APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE UNDER THIS TITLE
SHALL BE MADE ON THE FORM THAT THE ADMINISTRATION
REQUIRES.

repeated in each of Art. 66 1/2, §§ 5-102(a),
5-202(a)(1), 5-301.1 (a), 5-703 (a),
5-803(a)(1), and 6-502.
(B) INFORMATION REQUIRED.
IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER INFORMATION REQUIRED BY
THIS TITLE, EACH APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE UNDER THIS
TITLE SHALL INCLUDE:
(1) THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE APPLICANT;
(2) THE ADDRESS OF THE FIXED LOCATION FROM
WHICH THE LICENSED ACTIVITY OF THE APPLICANT WILL BE
CONDUCTED; AND
(3) ANY OTHER INFORMATION THAT THE
ADMINISTRATION REQUIRES.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language that
combines the common information requirements
presently repeated in each of Art. 66 1/2, §§
5-102(b) and (c), 5-301.1(b), 5-703 (b) , and
6-501(3).
By placement in this subtitle, these
requirements are broadened to apply to title
service agents, drivers' schools, and driving
instructors, as well. This change is made to
achieve general uniformity and conforms to
current regulations and practice.
