(D)       TWO-STAGE VEHICLE. "TWO-STAGE VEHICLE" MEANS A TWO-STAGE VEHICLE, AS
DEFINED IN §13-113.2 OF THIS ARTICLE, THAT IS OF A TYPE
REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED UNDER TITLE 13 OF THIS ARTICLE. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added to clarify the references in this title
to "two—stage vehicle". The phrase "of a type
required to be registered" is added for
clarity; see, e.g., present Art. 66 1/2,
§3-113.1A (b) (1) {two-stage vehicles "to be
sold or registered in this State"]. See,
also, §13—113.2 of this article. (E)     VEHICLE SALESMAN. (1)"VEHICLE SALESMAN" MEANS, EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS SUBSECTION, ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO: (1) (I) FOR A COMMISSION OR OTHER
COMPENSATION, UNDER ANY FORM OF AGREEMENT OR ARRANGEMENT
WITH A DEALER, BUYS, SELLS, OR EXCHANGES OR NEGOTIATES OR
ATTEMPTS TO NEGOTIATE A SALE OR EXCHANGE OF AN INTEREST
IN A VEHICLE OF A TYPE REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED UNDER
TITLE 13 OF THIS ARTICLE; OR
(2) UNLESS HE IS A PERSON DESCRIBED IN SUBSECTION (B)(2) OF THIS SECTION OR IS ACTING AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF SUCH A PERSON, (II) INDUCES OR ATTEMPTS
TO INDUCE ANY OTHER PERSON TO BUY OR EXCHANGE AN INTEREST
IN A VEHICLE Of A TYPE REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED UNDER
TITLE 13 OF THIS ARTICLE AND RECEIVES OR EXPECTS TO
RECEIVE A COMMISSION OR OTHER COMPENSATION FROM EITHER
THE SELLER OR THE BUYER OF THE VEHICLE.
(2)
"VEHICLE SALESMAN" DOES NOT INCLUDE:
(I)        A PERSON DESCRIBED IN SUBSECTION
(B)(2) OF THIS SECTION; OR
(II) AN INDIVIDUAL ACTING AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF A PERSON DESCRIBED IN SUBSECTION (B)(2) OF THIS SECTION. REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived without substantive change from Art.
66 1/2, §§1-210 and 5-301(d). The reference in present Art. 66 1/2,
§1—210(a) (1) to a person who "is employed as a
salesman by a dealer" is deleted as
unnecessary in light of item (1) of this
subsection.
As to paragraph (1) of this subsection, it
might be helpful to note that the distinction
between item (i) and item (ii)—-carried over
