(C) CERTIFICATION AND SIGNATURE.
EACH APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE UNDER THIS TITLE
SHALL:
(1) CONTAIN A CERTIFICATION BY THE APPLICANT
THAI THE INFORMATION GIVEN IN IT IS TRUE; AND
(2) BE SIGNED BY:
(I) THE APPLICANT, IF THE APPLICANT IS AN
INDIVIDUAL;
(II) A PARTNER OR OTHER AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE, IF THE APPLICATION IS MADE FOR A
PARTNERSHIP; OR
(III) AN OFFICER OR OTHER AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE, IF THE APPLICATION IS MADE FOR A
CORPORATION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language that
combines the common certification and
signature requirements presently repeated in
each of Art. 66 1/2, §§ 5-102(d), 5-301.1(c),
5-703(d), and 5-803(c).
By placement in this subtitle, these
requirements are broadened to apply to
wreckers and scrap processors, drivers'
schools, and driving instructors, as well.
This change is made to achieve general
uniformity and conforms to current regulations
and practice.
As to certifications, generally, see §12—109
of this article.
(D) FEE.
EXCEPT FOR AN APPLICATION FOR A DRIVERS' SCHOOL
LICENSE, EACH APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE UNDER THIS TITLE
SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE ANNUAL FEE REQUIRED FOR THAT
LICENSE.

combines the common fee requirements presently
repeated in each of Art. 66 1/2, §§ 5-102(e),
5-202(a)(6), 5-703(e), 5-803(a)(4), and 6-502.
