PART IV. MISCELLANEOUS SPECIAL REGISTRATIONS.
13-629. SPECIAL USE OF REGISTRATION PLATES PROVIDED FOR
INTRASTATE PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION IN PRESCRIBED URBAN
LIMITS.
ANY PERSON TO WHOM SPECIAL REGISTRATION PLATES HAVE
BEEN ISSUED UNDER THE LAW RELATING TO COMMON CARRIERS, AS
SET FORTH IN ARTICLE 56 OF THE CODE, MAY, AFTER
NOTIFYING THE ADMINISTRATION OF HIS INTENTION TO DO SO:
(1) TRANSFER, FOR A PERIOD OF NOT MORE THAN 15
DAYS, THE REGISTRATION PLATES TO A MOTOR VEHICLE OWNED BY
A MANUFACTURER; AND
(2) OPERATE THE VEHICLE OVER THE EXISTING ROUTE OR
ROUTES FOR A TRIAL OR DEMONSTRATION PERIOD.

Art. 66 1/2, §3-604.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE:
In revising this subtitle, the Commission to Revise
the Annotated Code reorganized present Art. 66 1/2,
Subtitle 3, Part VI, to distinguish more clearly between
the various types of special registrations provided for.
Present Art. 66 1/2, §3-608, which relates to fleet
registrations for certain trailers and semitrailers, is
transferred to Subtitle 9 of this title and appears as
§13—927 among the other sections governing the
registration of Class G (Trailer) vehicles.
