providing for certain counter petitions and their
effect; providing for special tax assessments for
payment of certain costs incurred in projects that
have been abated; changing certain water service
restoration service charges; changing certain water
usage rates; establishing an environmental
protection fee on water usage bills effective on a
certain date; changing certain water rent charges;
changing certain user connection charges; providing
that certain capital facility connection and
assessment charges apply prior to a certain date and
other charges apply after that date; making certain
technical changes; requiring payment of a capital
facility connection charge at a certain time;
changing certain user connection charges; providing
that certain wastewater capital facility and
assessment charges shall be effective on or before a
certain date, and that other charges shall be
effective after that date; requiring payment of a
capital facility connection charge at a certain
time; changing certain wastewater use charges;
establishing an environmental protection fee to be
added to all wastewater use bills after a certain
date; changing certain charges assessed for the
disposal and treatment of certain materials;
providing that certain property not abutting public
rights-of-way shall be assessed a certain charge at
a certain time; repealing certain inconsistent laws;
and generally relating to establishment of, and
changes in, water and wastewater assessments and
charges in Anne Arundel County.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Section 17-500(b) of the Anne Arundel County Code
(1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 17,
"Taxation", Subtitle 5, "Gross Receipts", to
specifically exempt nonprofit community associations
from payment of the tax levy upon gross receipts as
provided in this Section, and matters generally
related thereto.
