MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

WHEREAS, Frederick Ward Associates, Inc., has
completed a field survey and has presented to the Town a
new description and plat of the Town's boundaries,
AND WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of The Town of
Chesapeake City desire to adopt the 1975 description and
plat prepared by Frederick Ward Associates, Inc.,
Registered Land Surveyors, as the official survey of the
Town's boundaries superseding the survey made in 1856.
[Section 26—2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Cecil County, repealed and reenacted.
Effective Date July 1, 1976]

TOWN OF CHESAPEAKE CITY
CHARTER AMENDMENT
Resolution of the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Chesapeake City, adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article XI—E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section
11 et seq. entitled "Charter Amendments" of Article 23A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, to amend two sections
of the Charter of The Town of Chesapeake City, said
Charter being codified as Chapter 26 of "The Code of
Cecil County, Maryland," 1970 Edition as amended, said
Code being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland.
[Sections 26—23 and 26—53 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Cecil County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
Effective Date April 27, 1976]
