CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. R-11-75
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOWIE,
MARYLAND adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E
of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as
amended) to amend Section 43 entitled "Duty to Prepare
Budget, etc." said Section being Section 5—43 of Subtitle
5 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1963 Edition, as amended), which Article
contains in whole or in part the Charter of the City of
Bowie, by repealing and reenacting with amendment said
Section 43 providing for the addition of specific
language specifying the period between the tenth and the
fifteenth days of each April as the submission time of
the annual budget by the City Manager.
[Section 5-43 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
Effective Date February 10, 1976]

MARYLAND adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11E

amended) to add new Section 43A entitled "Capital
Improvement Program" said Section to be Section 5—43A of
Subtitle 5 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1963 Edition, as amended), which Article
contains in whole or in part the Charter of the City of
Bowie, by enacting said Section 43A providing for the
addition of specific language relative to the annual
preparation and submission of a Capital Improvement
Program.
[Section 5—43A of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, added.
Effective Date February 10, 1976]
