of Elections and the members of the Liquor Control Board:
and
WHEREAS, The Members of the House of Delegates and
of the Senate who represent Garrett County should appoint
this Commission; and
WHEREAS, The commission shall be composed of five
members; and
WHEREAS, The commission shall be appointed as
follows: one member from the Republican State Central
Committee, one member from the Democratic State Central
Committee, one member from the League of Women Voters,
one member from the Republican State Central Committee
who is not a member of the Committee, and one member from
the Democratic State Central Committee who is not a
member of the committee and two members of the general
public; and
WHEREAS, The commission shall study the existing
salaries of all those Garrett County elected officials
and make recommendations regarding the salaries for the
term of office to begin in 1979; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That
the final report of the commission shall be submitted on
or before January 1, 1978; and be it further
RESOLVED, That recommendations of the commission
shall be sent to the Garrett County Delegation; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be sent to
the Honorable Edward J. Mason.
