JOINT RESOLUTIONS

WHEREAS, It would be beneficial to the welfare of
the public in general and also to mobile home residents
and business persons to have a study done of the problems
and issues unique to mobile homes; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY Of MARYLAND, That
the Governor is requested to appoint a Mobile Home Study
Commission to consist of eleven members to be selected as
follows: one member from the Executive Department, two
members from the House of Delegates, two members from the
Senate, two members representing local government, two
members representing mobile home residents, and two
members representing mobile home related businesses; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That the Commission be charged with the
duty of studying the problems and issues related to
mobile home residence and business endeavors, and the
implications and ramifications of these problems and
issues for the public in general; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the staff services and assistance to
the Commission shall be provided by the Maryland State
Department of Legislative Reference; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Commission shall issue a report
of the findings of its study, together with any suggested
legislation by February 1, 1978.

A House Joint Resolution concerning
Garrett County — Compensation of Elected Officials
FOR the purpose of requesting that the Members of the
House of Delegates and of the Senate of Maryland
from Garrett County establish a commission to study
the existing salaries of all elected certain Garrett
County officials and make recommendations regarding
certain future salaries.
WHEREAS, There ought to be a study of the salaries
of the elected officials of Garrett County so that
disparities might be rectified Garrett County
Commissioners, Treasurer, Sheriff, States Attorney and
Deputy, Judges of the Orphans Court, Board of Supervisors
