A REGIONAL MEMBER OF THE COMMISSION IS ENTITLED TO
THE COMPENSATION PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the seventh
through ninth sentences of the first paragraph
of Art. 89B, §1.

addition of a new, seventh aether in 1969, as
per Ch. 114, Acts of 1969,
In subsection (b)(1) of this section, new
language is added to indicate that a member
serves until his successor takes office. This
conforms to similar provisions appearing
elsewhere in the Code.
In subsection (b)(2) of this section, the
present statement that the vacancy be filled
by "{t}he Secretary ... with the approval of
the Governor" is deleted as unnecessary in
light of the express provisions of §8—211(b)
of this subtitle.

sentences of the first paragraph of Art. 89B,
§1.
