LAWS OF MARYLAND
liquor control board of Harford County only to
proprietors of bona fide retail stores selling food,
drugs, or other similar commodities amounting to at least
20 percent of the total monthly receipts. [This license
authorizes] THESE LICENSES AUTHORIZE the licensee to sell
for consumption off the premises only, fermented
beverages including split bottles and brewed beverages in
normal containerized packages[; provided that brewed].
BREWED beverages sold in bottles or cans exceeding 12
ounces in weight or size, for consumption off the
premises, may be sold individually. [No brewed] BREWED
beverages [shall] MAY NOT be authorized to contain more
than 6 percent of alcohol by volume and wine and other
fermented beverages [shall] MAY not contain more than 23
percent by volume. The word "premises" for the purpose
of this section shall be construed to include any
building, parking lot, terrace or grounds which form an
integral part of the licensed premises. [The holder of a
license hereunder also may purchase a special Sunday
off—sale only license upon payment of an additional fee
of $125.] 14. (g) (1) There is established in Harford County a
SIX DAY, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY, "Class B-1 restaurant
license" which may be issued by the liquor control board
to bona fide restaurants. The cost of the license [shall
be] IS $225. THERE IS ESTABLISHED IN HARFORD COUNTY A
SEVEN DAY "CLASS B-1 RESTAURANT LICENSE" WHICH MAY BE
ISSUED BY THE LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD TO BONA FIDE
RESTAURANTS. THE COST OF THE LICENSE IS $350. THE [and
the] licensee shall comply with the food sale
requirements of § 2 (p) only for the purpose of meeting
the requirements of § 19 (f—2) necessary to apply for a
Class B restaurant license. [Any restaurant described in
this section shall be entitled to the issuance of a
special Sunday on and off sale license upon payment of an
additional fee of $125.] (2) There is created in Harford County a SIX
DAY, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY, "Class B-2 restaurant
license[,"which"] ". THE FEE IS $225 $300. THERE IS
CREATED IN HARFORD COUNTY A SEVEN DAY "CLASS B-2
RESTAURANT LICENSE". THE FEE IS $350 $425. THESE
LICENSES may be issued by the liquor control board to a
licensee who has been operating his business
establishment for one year prior to the application for
the license and who is, in the judgment of the board,
equipped and stocked for the continued regular sale of
food to customers and guests. [The cost of the license
shall be $225 and the] THE licensee need not comply with
the food sale requirement set forth in § 2 (p). [A
restaurant meeting these requirements is entitled to the
issuance of a special Sunday sale license upon payment of
an additional fee of $125.]
