application for a certain license; prohibiting the
issuance of an alcoholic beverage license within a
certain distance of private and parochial schools
and allowing an exception for certain existing
licenses; altering the physical area around a
licensed establishment for which certain protests
may prevent the renewal of a license; requiring the
revocation of a license for certain activities;
permitting the sale of alcoholic beverages on the
day of any election in Harford County; altering
certain requirements regarding the minimum age of
employees in licensed establishments; permitting the
maintenance of a county liquor dispensary within the
first election district; clarifying language and
structure; and making this act an emergency measure.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 13(h), 14(g)(1) and (2), 15(f),
19(n)(1), 20(h-2), 40(b), 52A(a), 68(a), 71A, 88(b),
126(e), and 161(b) of Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976 Replacement
Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and they are hereby
repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
13.
(h) in Harford County the annual license fee for
[such license shall be] A SIX DAY, MONDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY, LICENSE IS $125 [and], THE FEE FOR A SEVEN DAY
LICENSE IS $250. THE LICENSES shall be granted by the
