3172                                    LAWS OF MARYLAND                           Ch. 784 follows: Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings 13-101. (a) [An] THERE IS AN Administrative Office of the
Courts [is created and continued ], headed by the State
Court Administrator. The Administrator is appointed by
and holds office during the pleasure of the Chief Judge
of the Court of Appeals of Maryland. The Administrator
shall have the compensation provided in the State budget.
The Administrative Office of the Courts shall have a seal
in the form the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals
approves. The courts of the State shall take judicial
notice of the seal. 13-102. (a) [An] THESE IS AN Administrative Office of
Courts of the Seventh Judicial Circuit [is created and
continued], headed by an administrator. The
administrator is appointed by and holds office during the
pleasure of the judges of the Seventh Judicial Circuit.
He shall devote time to his official duties as the judges
prescribe. He shall have the salary and allowances
prescribed and set by the county governments of Prince
George's, St. Mary's, Calvert, and Charles counties.
His salary shall be paid one half by Prince George's
County, and one sixth by each of St. Mary's, Calvert,
and Charles counties. 13-201. [The] THERE IS A position of State Reporter [is
created and continued]. The judges of the Court of
Appeals shall appoint the State Reporter for a term of
four years unless the judges remove him sooner. He is
eligible for reappointment. SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections
1-101 (a), 1-106(a), 1-201, 2-201 (a), 2-204 (a), 2-302,
2-304(a), 3-103 (a), 3-201(a), 3-302 (a), 4-201, 4-204 (a)
and (b), 4-208(a), 4-209, 5-202, 5-203, 5-204 (a) and (b),
5-212, 5-904(b), 5-908, 7-201(a), 7-204 (a), 8-201(a),
8-202(a) and (b), 8-402(a), 8-403 (a), 8-502, 8-607(a),
8-707, 8-1005(a), 8-1105.1(a), 8-1411(f), 10-201,
10-204(a), and 10-209(a) of Article - Natural Resources,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976
Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows: Article - Natural Resources 1-101. (a) [The] THERE IS A Department of Natural
Resources [of Maryland is created and continued],
