BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article — Transportation Section 5-101(k) Annotated Code of Maryland (As enacted by Chapter of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1977)
BY repealing Article - Transportation Section 5—212 Annotated Code of Maryland (As enacted by Chapter ________of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1977)
BY adding to Article — Transportation Section 5-212 Annotated Code of Maryland (As enacted by Chapter ____ of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1977)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 4(e) be and it is hereby added
to Article 88B - State Police, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) to
read as follows: Article 88B - State Police 4. (E)         (1)        THE          SUPERINTENDENT,          THE            DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT, AND EMPLOYEES DESIGNATED BY THE SUPERINTENDENT AS POLICE EMPLOYEES SHALL HAVE THE SAME
LAW-ENFORCEMENT POWERS ON PROPERTY OWNED, LEASED, OR
OPERATED BY OR UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE STATE AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION AS ARE ENUMERATED IN SECTION 3 AND IN
SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
POLICIES SET FORTH IN SECTION 5-102 OF THE TRANSPORTATION
ARTICLE, THE SUPERINTENDENT SHALL CONSULT AND COOPERATE
WITH THE STATE AVIATION ADMINISTRATOR IN THE EXERCISE OF
HIS POWER TO PERFORM LAW-ENFORCEMENT DUTIES ON SUCH
PROPERTY. (2)        FUNDING FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE LAW-ENFORCEMENT DUTIES BY THE STATE POLICE ON THE ADMINISTRATION PROPERTY SHALL BE AS PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET PROVIDED FROM THE SPECIAL FUNDS SET FORTH IN SECTION 3-216(D) OF THE TRANSPORTATION ARTICLE. THE FUNDING FOR LAW-ENFORCEMENT DUTIES SHALL INCLUDE THE
