THIS SECTION DOES NOT ABROGATE OR LIMIT THE
APPLICABILITY OF ANY OTHER LAW THAT IS VIOLATED BY ANY
ACTION PROHIBITED BY THIS SECTION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 64B, §7.
The present references to the "Board" and to a
"director {or} alternate" are deleted as
obsolete.
In subsection (a)(1) of this section, the
present reference to "real or personal"
property is deleted as unnecessary in light of
the definition of "property" in §1-10 1 of this
article.
In subsection (c) of this section, the present
reference to an "agreement" is deleted as
unnecessary since a "contract" would include
an "agreement".
The only other changes are in style.
7-212. CONTINUATION AND CHANGE OF RULES, FORMS, ORDERS,
AND DIRECTIVES; REFERENCES TO METROPOLITAN TRANSIT
AUTHORITY AND PUBLIC TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION.
EVERY RULE, REGULATION, FORM, ORDER, AND DIRECTIVE
ADOPTED BY OR RELATING TO THE FORMER METROPOLITAN TRANSIT
AUTHORITY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL CHANGED BY THE
ADMINISTRATOR OR THE SECRETARY. EVERY REFERENCE IN THIS
CODE, ANY OTHER LAW, ORDINANCE, RESOLUTION, RULE,
REGULATION, ORDER, DIRECTIVE, LEGAL ACTION, CONTRACT, OR
ANY OTHER DOCUMENT TO THE METROPOLITAN TRANSIT AUTHORITY
OR THE PUBLIC TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION MEANS THE MASS
TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 41, § 207D(c) and (d).
In the first sentence of this section, the
present reference to "June 30, 1971" is
deleted as unnecessary; and, in the second
sentence, the word "order" is added to conform
to the similar provisions appearing in §2—107
of the Agriculture Article as well as the
reference to an "order" in the first sentence
of this section.
The present references to the Maryland
Transportation Authority and "matters within
{its} jurisdiction" are deleted as obsolete.
All statutory provisions relating to revenue
bond financing of the former Metropolitan
Transit Authority have been repealed; in this
