28.
(a) Salaries, expenses, and other costs incident to
the operation of the Department and the performance of
its duties, in such amount as is established by the
budget, shall be disbursed in the manner prescribed by
law. The source of such funds shall be determined in
accordance with [Article 66 1/2, § 341] §12-118 OF THE
TRANSPORTATION ARTICLE, or as otherwise provided by law.
SECTION 22. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
Sections 11-203(8), 12-601 (m), 14-1001(c), and
16-201(e)(1) of Article - Commercial Law, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Volume and 1976
Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
Article - Commercial Law
11-203.
This subtitle does not make illegal the activity of:
(8) Any person to the extent that the activity is
subject to the jurisdiction of the [Metropolitan Transit
Authority] MASS TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION or the Washington
Metropolitan Area Transit Authority;
12-601.
(m) "Motor vehicle" has the meaning stated in
[Article 66 1/2, § 1-149 of the Code] TITLE 11 OF THE
TRANSPORTATION ARTICLE.
14-1001.
(c) "Motor vehicle" has the meaning stated in
[Article 66 1/2, § 1-149 of the Code] TITLE 11 OF THE
TRANSPORTATION ARTICLE.

(e) (1) "Motor vehicle" has the meaning stated in

SECTION 23. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
Sections 3-804(d)(2) and (e) and 3-824 (a) of Article -
Courts and Judicial Proceedings, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
