"engineering" [or "land surveyor" or "land surveying"] or
any modification or derivative [thereof] OF THOSE WORDS
in its name or form of business or activity except as
authorized in this article[, or any person presenting or
attempting];
(3) PRESENT OR ATTEMPT to use the
certificate of registration or the seal of another[, or
any person who shall];
(4) give any false or forged evidence of any
kind to the Board or to any member [thereof] OF THE BOARD
in obtaining or attempting to obtain a certificate of
registration[ or any person who shall];
(5) falsely impersonate any other registrant
of like or different name[, or any person who shall];
(6) attempt to use an expired or revoked or
nonexistent certificate of registration[, or who shall];
(7) practice or offer to practice when not
qualified[, or any person who];
(8) falsely [claims] CLAIM that he is
registered under this article[,]; or [any person who
shall ]
(9) violate any [of the provisions] OTHER
PROVISION of this article[, shall be].
(B) ANY PERSON WHO VIOLATES ANY PROVISION OF THIS
SECTION IS guilty of a misdemeanor and [may, upon] ON
conviction, [be sentenced to pay] IS SUBJECT TO a fine of
not less than [one hundred dollars ($100.00), nor more
than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or suffer] $100 AND
NOT MORE THAN $500 OR imprisonment for a period not
exceeding six months, or both.
[(b)] (C) It shall be the duty of all duly
constituted officers of this State and all political
subdivisions thereof to enforce the provisions of this
article and to prosecute any persons violating same.
[(c)] (D) The Attorney General of this State or his
assistant shall act as legal advisor to the Board and
render such legal assistance as may be necessary in
carrying out the provisions of this article. The Board
may employ counsel and necessary assistance to aid in the
enforcement of this article and the compensation and
expenses therefor shall be paid from funds of the Board.

This article [shall] DOES not [be construed to]
prevent or [to] affect:
[(a) ] (1) The practice of any other legally
