MARVIN MANDEL, Governor
recognized profession or trade; for] [(b)] (2) The work of an employee or a subordinate
of a person holding a certificate of registration under
this article[,] or OF an employee of a person practicing
lawfully under this section[; provided such] IF THE work
is done under the direct responsibility and supervision
of a person holding a certificate of registration under
this article or a person practicing lawfully under this
section; [or] [(c)] (3) The practice of officers and employees
of the government of the United States while engaged
within this State in the practice of the profession of
engineering [ or land surveying] for [said] THE
government[ . ]; [(d)] (4) The work or practice of a regular
employee of a public utility company, by rendering to
[such] THE company engineering service in connection with
its facilities which are subject to regulation,
supervision and control, in order to safeguard life,
health and property by a state or federal regulatory
commission having jurisdiction so long as such person is
thus actually and exclusively employed and no longer[. ]; [(e)] (5) The work or practice of engineering by
officers or employees of corporations [(1)] (I) engaged
in research and development engineering performed for the
United States government, or any department or agency
[thereof,] Of THE GOVERNMENT or [(2)] (II) engaged in
manufacturing, [or] in industrial processes, [or] in
industrial engineering, or in the maintenance and repair
of structures or equipment used in such manufacturing or
industrial processes, [provided such] IF THE work or
practice or engineering is in connection with or
incidental to products or systems of such corporations or
its subsidiaries or affiliates[.]; OR [(f)] (6) The use of the term     "engineer" in connection with any practice specified   in [subsections (c), (d), and (e) hereof] ITEMS (3), (4),   OR (5) OF THIS
SECTION. 19A. The practice of or offer to practice engineering [or
land surveying] for others [as defined in § 2] by
individual engineers for land surveyors] registered under
this article through a corporation as officers, employees
or agents[,] or through a partnership as partners,
officers, employees, or agents[, or] AND the offering or
rendering of engineering [and land surveying] services by
a corporation or partnership through individual engineers
for land surveyors] registered under this article is
permitted, subject to the provisions of this article[;
provided that no such]. HOWEVER, A corporation or
partnership [shall be] IS NOT relieved of responsibility
