MARVIN MANDEL, Governor                           2871 University of Maryland for the Eastern Shore Campus for
design and preparation of detailed plans and
specifications for a Computer, Science, Math, Business
Education Building, and in Section 5F4(e) in said Chapter
686 and found on page 3641 of the Laws of 1975, making
available $62,000 for University of Maryland, for Eastern
Shore Campus, to supplement the appropriation "Design and
preparation of detailed plans and specifications for a
Computer, Science, Math, Business Education Building"
shown on pages 515—516 of the Laws of 1972. The
aforementioned items are described by reference, but
every such reference shall be deemed to include the full
description of the item as set forth in the respective
sections of Chapter 179 of the Acts of 1972 and Chapter
886 of the Acts of 1975. There shall be allowed an
additional period of two years beginning on the effective
date of this Act, for placing the aforementioned projects
under contract. If said projects, or any of them shall
not have been placed under contract within a period of
two years beginning on the effective date of this Act,
then, as to any such project not so placed under
contract, it shall be deemed to have been abandoned, and
the other provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 179 of the
Acts of 1972 and Section 10 of Chapter 886 of the Acts of
1975 shall be fully effective as to such project. SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 195 of the Acts of
1973 and Section 10 of Chapter 886 of the Acts of 1975 be
and they are hereby waived insofar as they impose a time
for placing under contract the items contained in Section
5(O)(4)(a) in said Chapter 195, and found on page 308 of
the Laws of 1973, making available $35,000 for the
University of Maryland for Eastern Shore Campus for
design and preparation of detailed plans and
specifications for the renovation of Trigg Hall, and in
Section 5F4 (d) in said Chapter 886 and found on pages
3640-3641 of the Laws of 1975, making available $40,000
for the University of Maryland for Eastern Shore Campus,
to supplement the appropriation "Design and Preparation
of Detailed Plans and Specifications for the Renovation
of Trigg Hall" as shown on page 308 of the Laws of 1973.
The aforementioned items are described by reference, but
every such reference shall be deemed to include the full
description of the item as set forth in the respective
sections of Chapter 19 5 of the Laws of 1973 and Chapter
886 of the Laws of 1975. There shall be allowed an
additional period of two years beginning on the effective
date of this Act, for placing the aforementioned projects
under contract. If said projects, or any of them shall
not have been placed under contract within a period of
two years beginning on the effective date of this Act,
then, as to any such project not so placed under
contract, it shall be deemed to have been abandoned, and
the other provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 195 and
Section 10 of Chapter 886 shall be fully effective as to
such project.
