Commission shall have the powers specifically conferred
by this article and by any other law, and also all
implied and incidental powers necessary and proper to
carry out effectually the provisions of this article.
(B) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS
SECTION, THE JURISDICTION AND POWERS OF THE PUBLIC
SERVICE COMMISSION SHALL NOT EXTEND TO THE PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY ESTABLISHED
PURSUANT TO SECTION 8-41 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS
OF WASHINGTON COUNTY BEING ARTICLE 22 OF THE CODE OF
PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND.

SECTION 2. AND BE FURTHER ENACTED, That new Section
8-41(f) be and it is hereby added to the Public Local
Laws of Washington County being Article 22 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1970 Edition and 1975 Supplement,
as amended) to read as follows:
Article 22
8-41.
(F) THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM ESTABLISHED
UNDER THIS SECTION SHALL BE UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY AND NOT UNDER
THE JURISDICTION OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF
MARYLAND.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
