SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 60 (c-1), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h),
(h—1), (i), and (j), respectively, of Article 2B —
Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1976 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and they
are hereby renumbered to be Sections 60(d), (e), (f),
(g), (i), (j), (k), (l), and (m), respectively.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 60(h) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B —
Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1976 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) to read as
follows:

60.
(H) IN HARFORD COUNTY, THE LIQUOR BOARD SHALL
PUBLISH ITS DECISION ON ANY APPLICATION FOR A NEW
LICENSE, UPGRADING OF AN EXISTING LICENSE, OR ANY CHANGE
OF LOCATION OF ANY EXISTING LICENSE, IN TWO NEWSPAPERS OF
GENERAL CIRCULATION PUBLISHED IN THE COUNTY. THE
PUBLICATION SHALL SPECIFY THE NAME OF THE LICENSEE, THE
TYPE OF LICENSE AND THE LOCATION OF THE LICENSE. THE
DECISION OF THE HARFORD COUNTY LIQUOR BOARD BECOMES
EFFECTIVE TEN DAYS FOLLOWING THE DATE OF PUBLICATION OF
THE DECISION.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
