LAWS OF MARYLAND
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977. Approved May 17, 1977.
CHAPTER 434 (House Bill 476) AN ACT concerning Real Property - Condominium Assessments FOR the purpose of requiring that certain common element
condominium property be assessed in a certain
percentage interest manner; requiring the approval
of the Department of Assessments and Taxation on all
percentage interest assignments; establishing the standard for approval; and clarifying certain language the assessment of condominium property to
be in accordance with the provisions of Article 81,
Section 14(b) of the Annotated Code of Maryland. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Real Property Section 11-101(b), 11-103(a) and 11-114(a) Section 11-114 Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement)
BY adding to

Section 11-107(e)
Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That Sections 11-101(b), 11-103(a) and 11-114(a) of Article - Real Property, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and
they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
Article - Real Property
11-101.
(b) "Common elements" means all of the condominium except the units. FOR ASSESSMENT PURPOSES ONLY, "COMMON ELEMENTS" MEANS THOSE ELEMENTS WHICH DO NOT COMPRISE ANY
STRUCTURAL PART OF ONE OR MORE INDIVIDUAL PROPERTIES.
