VEHICLE AT A LESS CONVENIENT LOCATION; AND
(2) IF THE ADMINISTRATION DETERMINES THAT
THE PHYSICAL DISABILITY IS PERMANENT.
[(b)](D)(C) On receipt of the permit, the
person shall affix it to his vehicle in a conspicuous
place.
[(c)](E)(D) After the Administration issues the
permit, the Administration shall notify the State Highway
Administration OR, AS TO PARKING SPACES IN BALTIMORE
CITY, THE BALTIMORE CITY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSIT AND
TRAFFIC,
[(d)](F)(E) Except in Baltimore City, within 30 days
after it receives the notification required by subsection
[(c)](E) of this section, the State Highway
Administration shall:
(1) Place and maintain at the proper place
at least one sturdy upright sign that:
(i) Contains a clear and easily
recognizable representation of a wheelchair; and
(ii) Prohibits general public parking
in the reserved space; and
(2) Paint a red line on the curt, edge, or
side of the roadway, long enough to reserve a space for
one Class A (passenger) vehicle.
(E)(F) IN BALTIMORE CITY, THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
A RESERVED PARKING SPACE SHALL BE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF
THE BALTIMORE CITY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSIT AND TRAFFIC, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHARTER AND PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF
BALTIMORE CITY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.
