Division of Correction Headquarters Design and
preparation of preliminary plans for a Community
Correctional Center to serve the Howard Carroll Frederick
County area, $50,000, Section 5 (K) (1) (f) of Chapter
195 and found on page 301 of the Laws of 1973 as amended
by this act providing for a Community Adult
Rehabilitation Center in Howard County.

|
The aforementioned items are described by reference,
but every such reference shall be deemed to include the
full description of the item as set forth in the
respective sections of Chapter 195 of the Laws of 1973 as
amended by this act. There shall be allowed an
additional period of two years beginning on the effective
date of this act, for placing the aforementioned projects
under contract. If said projects, or any of them shall
not have been placed under contract within a period of
two years beginning on the effective date of this act,
then, as to any such project not so placed under
contract, it shall be deemed to have been abandoned, and
the other provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 195 of the
Laws of 1973 shall be fully effective as to such project.
SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 886 of the Acts of
1975 be and they are hereby waived insofar as they impose
a time for placing under contract the following projects
in Section 5 of said Chapter 886;
Department of Public Safety and Correctional
Services — Division of Correction - Headquarters —
Construction of Baltimore City Community Correctional
Center No. 2, $3,820,000, Section 5 E 1(a) (2) of Chapter
886 and found on page 3631 of the Laws of 1975 as amended
by this act providing for a Community Adult
Rehabilitation Center in Baltimore City;
Department of Public Safety and Correctional
Services - Division of Correction - Headquarters -
Equipment for the Regional Community Correctional Center
for St. Mary's, Charles and Calvert Counties, $23,100,
Section 5 E 1(a) (3) of Chapter 886 and found on page
3631 of the Laws of 1975 as amended by this act providing
for a Community Adult Rehabilitation Center in Charles
County and a pretrial facility in Charles County;
