of this State. He shall be appointed by the Commission

receive an annual salary [of seven thousand five hundred
($7,500.00) dollars] AS PROVIDED IN THE ANNUAL STATE
BUDGET BUT IN NO CASE SHALL COMPENSATION BE LESS THAN
$10,500 PER YEAR.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

(Senate Bill 645)
AN ACT concerning
Community Correctional Centers - Community
Adult Rehabilitation Centers
FOR the purpose of repealing and re-enacting, with
amendments, Section 5(K)(1)(a), (b), (d), and (e)
and (f) of Chapter 195 of the Acts of 1973 to
provide that an appropriation for the Division of
Correction for a Community Correctional Center in
Prince George's County be used for a Community Adult
Rehabilitation Center in Prince George's County; to
provide that an appropriation for Division of
Correction for a Community Correctional Center in
Baltimore City be used for a Community Adult
Rehabilitation Center in Baltimore City; to provide
that an appropriation for Division of Correction for
acquisition of land for a second Community
Correctional Center in Baltimore City be used for a
Community Adult Rehabilitation Center in Baltimore
City; to provide that an appropriation for Division
of Correction for design and preparation of detailed
plans and specifications to convert the Correctional
Camp at Hughesville into a Community Correctional
Center with lockup facilities be used for a
Community Adult Rehabilitation Center in Charles
County and for a pretrial facility in Charles
County; to provide that an appropriation for
Division of Correction for design and preparation of
preliminary plans for a Community Correction Center
to serve the Howard-Carroll-Frederick area be used
for a Community Adult Rehabilitation Center in
toward?County; to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments. Section 5(I)(1)(b) , and (c) and (e) of
Chapter 289 of the Acts of 1974 to provide that an
appropriation for the Department of Public Safety
and Correctional Services, Division of Correction,
for construction of a Baltimore City Community
