AN ACT concerning

Clerks of Court — Compensation
FOR the purpose of removing references to a minimum and
maximum annual salary permitted to be paid to the
clerks of the circuit in each county and
Baltimore City; permitting the Board of Public Works
to determine the annual of each clerk of the
circuit court of the counties and of the Supreme
Bench of Baltimore City; providing that from the
time the clerk of each county elected in the
November election of 1878 commences his term the
clerk of each court shall receive such annual salary
as set forth by the Board of Public Works, plus cost
of living increases; and clarifying language.
