MARVIN MANDEL, Governor
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 94A, §22. References to "notes, and other evidences of
obligation" are inserted to conform to the
language of §4—301 of this subtitle and the
similar provisions of §3-213 of this article;
in this regard, see revisor's notes to §§
4-301 and 3-201 of this article. The phrase "may not be considered to
constitute" is substituted for "shall not be
deemed to constitute" to conform to the
language of §3—213 of this article; see
revisor's note to that section. The only other changes are in style.
SUBTITLE 4. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS. 4-401. CONTROL OF ENTRANCES AND EXITS. IF THE AUTHORITY CONSIDERS IT NECESSARY OR DESIRABLE
TO INSURE THE PROPER OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF ANY
TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES PROJECT, IT MAY DESIGNATE,
ESTABLISH, LIMIT, AND CONTROL THE ENTRANCES AND EXITS OF
THE PROJECT AND MAY PROHIBIT ENTRANCE OR EXIT FROM ANY
UNDESIGNATED POINT. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
from the implied power required to meet the
obligations of Art. 94A, §§17 and 18 - now
§§4-311 through 4-314 of this title - and
patterned after the substantially similar
provisions of former Art. 89B, §§123(f) and
144(h), relating to certain bridge, tunnel,
and motorway projects and the Kennedy Highway.
(These sections of Art. 89B previously have
been decodified and now appear in Sections 3
and 4 of Ch. 608, Acts of 1976; in this
regard, see General Revisor's Note to Title 3
of this article.) As to the substitution of the Authority for
the present references to the State Roads
Commission, see §4-209 of this title and its
revisor's note. 4-402.        TRAFFIC DELAY SIGNS FOR BALTIMORE HARBOR TUNNEL. AFTER STUDY, THE AUTHORITY SHALL ERECT SIGNS AT EACH
APPROACH TO THE BALTIMORE HARBOR TUNNEL THROUGHWAY TO
WARN MOTORISTS OF A DELAY IN THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC THROUGH
THE TUNNEL, SO THAT THEY MAY CHOOSE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art.
