A PERSON MAY NOT CATCH CONCH FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES
UNLESS THE PERSON FIRST OBTAINS A LICENSE FROM THE
DEPARTMENT. THE LICENSE IS VALID FOR THE YEAR IN WHICH
IT IS ISSUED. THE FEE TO ISSUE AND RENEW THE LICENSE IS
$5. A NONRESIDENT OF THE STATE MAY NOT OBTAIN A LICENSE
TO CATCH CONCH.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

FOR the purpose of providing for renewal of commercial
crabbers' licenses in certain instances; and making
style changes.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 4-806 (b) and (c)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 4-806(b) and (c) of Article -
Natural Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and they are hereby
repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
Article - Natural Resources
4-806.
(b) (1)[Every person who applies] EACH APPLICANT
for a commercial crabbing license to catch crabs under
[the provisions of] this subtitle shall complete an
application form showing his full name, social security
number, age, and residence[,] and shall certify that the
facts set forth in the completed application form are
true[,] and that he shall submit to the Department every
catch record or other information the Department requires
by rule or regulation.
