LAWS OF MARYLAND
(2) A PRIVATELY OWNED TRUCK IS PERMITTED
THIS TOLERANCE ONLY WHILE ACTUALLY ENGAGED IN THE
BUSINESS OF THE GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §§ 14-108 and 14-108.1. In subsection (b) of this section, the
introductory phrase, "gross weight imposed on
the ground surface by...", is substituted for
the present "axle load" for clarity. This
language follows closely that of the Uniform
Vehicle Code. The only other changes are in style. As to penalties and additional permitted
tolerances for weight violations, see §27-10 5
of this article. 24-109. GROSS WEIGHT OF VEHICLES. (A) GROSS WEIGHT OF VEHICLES - DISTANCE BETWEEN

SUBTITLE AND THE MAXIMUM GROSS WEIGHT LIMITS SET FORTH
