REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §14-109.
In subsection (a)(3) of this section, the
present phrase "including the load" is deleted
as unnecessary in light of the definition of
"gross weight" in §11?126 of this article.
Also, the phrase "prorated for fractions of a
foot" is new language added for clarity and to
conform with actual practice.
In subsection (b) of this section, the word
"vehicle" is substituted for "motor vehicle"
to conform with the language of the entire
section and the apparent intent of this
subsection.
In subsection (c) of this section, the present
proviso relating to certain previously
registered vehicles with metal tires is
deleted as obsolete. The defined term "gross
weight" is substituted for "gross load" for
clarity.
