SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Frederick County — Electrical Business

FOR the purpose of permitting the Frederick County
Commissioners to regulate electrical business;
creating an Electrical Board to assist the Frederick
County Commissioners in regulating the electrical
business; and generally relating to electrical
businesses in Frederick County.

Article 11 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1959 Edition and 1972 Supplement, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 11-2 be and it is hereby added
to the Public Local Laws of Frederick County being
Article 11 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1959
Edition and 1972 Supplement, as amended) to read as
follows:

Article 11

11-2.

(A)    THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FREDERICK COUNTY
MAY MAKE RULES AND REGULATIONS NECESSARY TO SUPERVISE AND
CONTROL ELECTRICAL BUSINESS WITHIN FREDERICK COUNTY.
THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS SHALL DEFINE THE ELECTRICAL
WORK WHICH IS REGULATED AND MAY PROVIDE FOR EXAMINATION
OF APPLICANTS, ISSUANCE OF WORK PERMITS, INSPECTION,
ENFORCEMENT, AND SUCH OTHER REQUIREMENTS AS MAY BE
NECESSARY TO SUPERVISE AND CONTROL THE ELECTRICAL
BUSINESS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST.

(B)    THE COMMISSIONERS MAY PROVIDE FOR A FIVE
