MEMBER ELECTRICAL BOARD WHICH, IF APPOINTED, SHALL ADVISE
THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND AID IN THE SUPERVISION AND
ENFORCEMENT OF ANY RULE OR REGULATION ADOPTED PURSUANT TO
THE AUTHORITY OF THIS SECTION.
(C) AT LEAST TWO MEMBERS OF THE ELECTRICAL BOARD
MAY NOT BE RELATED TO, EITHER BY BLOOD OR MARRIAGE, OR
ASSOCIATED WITH ANY PERSON OR CORPORATION WHO IS
CURRENTLY DOING ELECTRICAL WORK IN FREDERICK COUNTY OR
WHO HAS DONE ELECTRICAL WORK IN FREDERICK COUNTY WITHIN
THE YEAR PRIOR TO THE MEMBER'S DATE OF APPOINTMENT.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

Commercial Law — Consumer Protection
FOR the purpose of permitting the Division of Consumer
Protection of the Office of the Attorney General to
adopt reasonable rules, regulations, and standards,
subject to certain conditions on matters within
their jurisdiction.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 13-205(a) of Article - Commercial
Law, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Volume and
1975 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(a) (1) After obtaining the advice of the
Consumer Council and holding a public hearing, the
Division may adopt REASONABLE rules, regulations, and
standards appropriate to effectuate the purposes of this
