SECTION 2.         AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new

Section 10—415.1 be and it is hereby added to Article —
Natural Resources, of. the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1975 Supplement) to read as follows:

10-415. 1.

(A)    IN DORCHESTER COUNTY DURING THE SEASONS      FOR
HUNTING DEER PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 10-415 OF   THIS
ARTICLE, A PERSON MAY HUNT, PURSUE, OR KILL EITHER      (I)
ONE SHITE TAIL DEER OF EITHER SEX AND [[ONE]] TWO SITKA
DEER OF EITHER SEX[[. A PERSON HUNTING DEER DOES     NOT
NEED A REGULAR OR SPECIAL PERMIT TO ENGAGE IN   THIS
ACTIVITY]] OR (II) THREE SITKA DEER OF EITHER SEX,
WITHOUT THE NEED FOR A SPECIAL ANTLERLESS PERMIT.

(B)    THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL APPLY
DURING THE DEER HUNTING SEASONS IN 1976 AND 1977 ONLY.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
10—415(b) of Article - Natural Resources, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1975
Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and reenacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

(b) [A] EXCEPT IN DORCHESTER COUNTY A person may
hunt only one deer during each deer season. THE DEER
LIMIT IN DORCHESTER COUNTY IS SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 10-415.1 OF THIS ARTICLE.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
