Section 3-604

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1974 Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 3—604 be and it is hereby
added to Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1975
Supplement) to read as follows:

Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings

3-604.

THE COURT, FOR GOOD CAUSE, MAY APPOINT AN ATTORNEY
TO REPRESENT A MINOR IN ANY ACTION BROUGHT UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE IN WHICH THE ISSUE OF CUSTODY, VISITATION
RIGHTS, OR THE AMOUNT OF SUPPORT IS CONTESTED AND MAY
LEVY COUNSEL FEES AGAINST EITHER OR BOTH PARENTS AS IS
JUST AND PROPER UNDER ALL THE CIRCUMSTANCES. AN ATTORNEY
APPOINTED TO REPRESENT A MINOR MAY NOT REPRESENT ANY
PARTY TO THE ACTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Destroying, Injuring or Otherwise Dealing
With the Property of Another

FOR the purpose of [[classifying a certain crime as a
felony or misdemeanor according to the value of
property concerned; providing penalties; and
providing that the convicted person replace, restore
or be held liable to the owner for the property,
according to its class of crime and according to the
value of property with which it is concerned, upon
court order]] changing the penalty for the crime of

wilfully and maliciously destroying, injuring,

defacing or molesting property of another person.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
