Everstine 1963 Edition, entitled "Prevailing Hours
and Wage Rates on Public Works" as enacted by
Council Bill 116-1974 (Chapter 94); and more
particularly sections 7-3 (f) and 7-9(h) thereof; and
to redesignate present section 7-12 thereof as new
section 7—13; and to add a new section 7-12 in its
place and stead. These amendments are for the
purpose of deleting the provision requiring the
utilization of rates of wages as established by the
Commission of the Department of Labor and Industry
of the State of Maryland; providing that the County
Purchasing Agent, in lieu of the Director of Public
Works, shall be notified of certain violations; and
providing for the suspension of the provisions of
Section 7 by the County Executive during an
emergency.

AN ACT to amend paragraph (c) of Section 10-B of
CB-19-1975, as enacted on February 28, 1975, which
amends CB-152-1972, titled generally
"Landlord—Tenant," as enacted on November 27, 1972,
by adding a new sub—paragraph to provide that any
cost increase resulting from an increase in the
property tax rate shall not be passed on to tenants
as pro—rated monthly rent increases during the
period from March 1, 1975, through February 29,
1976.

AN ACT to amend Subtitle 32, titled "Fire Companies," of
the Public Local Laws of Prince George's County,
Maryland, by adding a new Section 32—22, titled
"Minimum Qualifications for Volunteer Fire Fighters
and Volunteer Rescue Squadsmen," to set forth
minimum qualifications with respect to training,
experience, age, character, and medical fitness
applicable to any member of a volunteer fire or
rescue squad department or company whenever any such
member actively engages in a fire fighting or rescue
operation in order to ensure quality personnel in
the leadership and the ranks of the volunteer fire
and rescue services in Prince George's County.
