animals, birds, reptiles, explosives, acids, or any item
inherently dangerous or offensive, may be offensive or
injurious to the health and welfare of others aboard a
public passenger vehicle; and,
WHEREAS, the Metrobus system and the soon to be
operating Metro rail transit system are publicly owned
and operated regional facilities providing mass
transportation to the residents of and visitors to the
National Capital area; and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent of all the jurisdictions
serviced by the Metrobus and Metro rail transit systems
to enact comparable legislation reciprocally enforceable
in all such jurisdictions prohibiting such occurrences
above described and other nuisances and unsafe acts as
hereinafter set out.

"Landlord—Tenant," as enacted on November 27, 1972,
by adding a new Section 10B to provide for the
continuation of rent controls in Prince George's
County, Maryland, by limiting the amount of rent
charged on dwelling units in multi—family rental
facilities during the period from March 1, 1975,
through February 29, 1976.

AN ACT to add a new Section 50-3A, titled "Prohibited
Sales, Solicitations and Distributions in Roadways,"
to Subtitle 50 of the Public Local Laws for Prince
George's County, Maryland, to provide that it shall
be unlawful for any person to sell or to attempt to
sell goods, wares or merchandise of any description
to, or to solicit or accept any donation from, or to
distribute printed matter or materials of any
description to, any occupant of a motor vehicle when
said motor vehicle is in a roadway.
