Chapter 3

AN ACT to repeal in its entirety, Section 52—11, title
"Tax Credits for persons over sixty—five years of
age," of Chapter 52, title "Taxation" of the
Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, and to
enact in lieu thereof a new Section 52-11, title
"Real Property Tax Credits for Permanently and
Totally Disabled Homeowners," to provide for real
property tax credits for disabled homeowners, to
provide qualifications and conditions for
eligibility, to provide procedures for application
for the tax credit, to define certain terms, and to
provide for an appeal of a decision on a tax credit.

Chapter 4

AN ACT to amend Chapter 48, title "Solid Waste", of the
Montgomery County Code, 1972, as amended, by
repealing and re—enacting with amendments Section
48-38 thereof, title "Solid Waste Advisory Committee
— Established; terms; ex officio members", to
increase the membership on the committee from eleven
to fifteen members; to provide that initially eight
members shall be appointed for three years and seven
members shall be appointed for two years; and to
provide that prior to making appointments the County
Executive shall request from the County Council a
list of any nominees the Council might wish to
submit for consideration for appointment.

Chapter 5

AN ACT to amend Chapter 26, title "Housing Standards", of
the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, by
repealing and re—enacting with amendments Section
26-16 thereof, title "Waiver or variances from
Chapter", to extend the time limit for bringing
certain housing into compliance with the County
housing standards.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 29, title "Fair Landlord-Tenant
Relations," of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as
amended, by the addition of a new subsection (g) to
