PROCLAMATION OF OCTOBER 23, 1975

FLOOD DAMAGE EMERGENCY TERMINATED

WHEREAS, I, Marvin Mandel, Governor of Maryland, having
been advised and informed that heavy rainfalls
occurring on September 24, 25, and 26, 1975, had
resulted in severe flood damage over extensive areas
of the State of Maryland; and

WHEREAS, Acting on this knowledge, I declared, on
September 26, 1975, that a State of Emergency
existed in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil,
Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince
George's and Washington Counties; and

WHEREAS, Said Emergency has been dealt with to the extent
that emergency conditions no longer exist;

NOW, THEREFORE, Pursuant to the authority vested in me by
the Constitution and laws of the State of Maryland,
including Article 16A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, and the Maryland Disaster Assistance Plan
adopted by Executive Order of September 26, 1975, I,
MARVIN MANDEL, GOVERNOR OF MARYLAND, HEREBY PROCLAIM
THAT THE STATE OF EMERGENCY IN ANNE ARUNDEL,
BALTIMORE, CARROLL, CECIL, FREDERICK, HARFORD,
HOWARD, MONTGOMERY, PRINCE GEORGE'S AND WASHINGTON
COUNTIES IS TERMINATED.

EXECUTIVE ORDER OF FEBRUARY 24, 1976

ADVISORY COMMISSION ON STUDENT AFFAIRS

WHEREAS, There exists a Governor's Commission for Student
Affairs at the University of Maryland, College Park;
and

WHEREAS, This Commission was created informally by me
several years ago in order to serve as a liaison
group between the students of the University and the
Governor; and

WHEREAS, The Commission has well served its initial
purpose; and

WHEREAS, There now exists a desire to formally create
