In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill

324.

This bill alters the authority   of an equity court   to

modify certain provisions which may     be contained in     a

deed or agreement made between     a husband and wife   in
certain circumstances.

House Bill 467, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on April 13, 1976, accomplishes
the same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 324.

AN ACT concerning

State Bond Issues - [[Time for Commencement]]
Termination of Authorization

FOR the purpose of [[altering the time requirement for
commencement of State bond issues after which the
authorization is terminated automatically; and
clarifying language]] changing the conditions which
will terminate an authorization for capital funding
in the State capital budget or any authorization for
funding in State general obligation bond issues.
