FOR the purpose of establishing a certain class alcoholic
beverage license for Worcester County, providing for
certain hours, a fee and requirements for the
issuance of a certain class alcoholic beverage
license; renumbering; making this Act subject to a
certain contingency; and clarifying language.

BY renumbering

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section 106(c) (9) and (10), respectively

to be Section 106 (c) (10) and (11), respectively

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

BY adding to

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section 18(n-1) and 106(c)(9)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section 18(o)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 106(c)(9) and (10), respectively,
of Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1975
Supplement) be and they are hereby renumbered to be
Sections 106(c) (10) and (11), respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Sections 18(n—1) and 106(c) (9) be and they are hereby
added to Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

18.

(N-1) (1) IN WORCESTER COUNTY THE ANNUAL LICENSE
FEE IS $1,000.

(2) (I) IN WORCESTER COUNTY, THERE MAY    NOT

BE ISSUED MORS THAN ONE CLASS A (OFF-SALE) BEER, WINE    AND

LIQUOR LICENSE FOR [[EACH UNIT OF]] EVERY 250 PEOPLE      IN
ANY ONE ELECTION DISTRICT.
