within the confines of its racing park; in [said] THE
county, for a fee of [seven hundred and fifty dollars
($750.00)] $750 each year, which [shall entitle] ENTITLES
the holder to sell at one or more locations within its
[said] park. [Such] THESE licenses and the licensees
[thereunder] shall be subject to all laws, rules and
regulations applicable in Worcester County to the sale of
alcoholic beverages not inconsistent with the provisions
of this subsection.          [All of said licensees shall

purchase all liquors and wines from the liquor control
board for Worcester County.]

(b) The liquor control board [also shall be
authorized to] MAY borrow money from time to time from
any banking institution[ , ] on its own credit. [Provided,
that the] THE aggregate sum advanced to [and/]or borrowed
by the liquor control board [shall at no time] MAY NOT
exceed $5,000.00 in Somerset County, $75,000.00 in
Harford County, $20,000.00 in Kent County, AND $25,000.00
in Wicomico County [and $100,000.00 in Worcester County].

(f) [[(1) In Worcester County, UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30,
1976, the county liquor dispensaries may be established
and maintained only at Pocomoke City, Snow Hill, Berlin
and Ocean City, and in the surrounding areas of the
election districts in which these four municipalities are
situated.

(2)]] IN WORCESTER COUNTY[[, AFTER SEPTEMBER
30, 1976,]] THE LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD MAY NOT CONTINUE TO
MAINTAIN STORES KNOWN AS THE "COUNTY LIQUOR
DISPENSARIES".

163.

(1) In Worcester County, in addition to the other
powers listed in this section, the board shall pay the
salary, not to exceed [the sum of thirty-five hundred
dollars ($3,500.00)] $3,500 annually, of an officer to
enforce the laws relating to alcoholic beverages in
[said] THE county. The officer shall be appointed by

the County Commissioners subject to the approval by
State's Attorney of the county. [The liquor control
board in Worcester County shall not sell beer at a profit
in excess of ten cents per case or one dollar per
barrel.]

168.

This subtitle [shall__apply] APPLIES to Garrett,

Harford, Montgomery, Kent, Somerset, AND Wicomico [and

Worcester] counties.

SECTION 2.        AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
